George Jeffrey

George Jeffrey is currently Non Executive Chairman of Playcast Europe a Games-on-Demand system for cable and IPTV operators. In addition, he is an advisor to the National Georgraphic Society as well as PBS, the American public service broadcadster where he is involved in the launch of its UK channel.
Previously, G eorge headed up National Geographic Channels' operations in UK, Europe,Middle East, Africa as well as global development opportunities for Nat Geo and Fox International. Prior tot that, he was Director of Television Networks for National Geographic Channels Europe responsible for business development, legal affairs and distribution in Europe, Israel and Africa. He was responsible for the Channel's rapid growth reaching 134 million homes in less than 5 years, making it the world's fastest growing television network.
In his earlier career, George was Vice President Legal and Business Affairs, Universal Studios Networks, responsible for USN's television networks business and legal affairs in the UK, including Sci-Fi Channel.
From 1994-1996 he headed Legal Affairs for Globecast Europe - France Telecom's satellite transponder and uplink provider.
George joined Robert Lindsay Associates in May 2011.
