ROBERT LINDSAY ASSOCIATES HOSTS PRESIDENTS' LUNCH

Robert Lindsay Associates, a specialist media search firm, hosted its first Presidents’ Lunch on 24th June 2009. The speaker was Patrick Gallagher, ex President, Europe for BT and subsequently on the BT Executive Board as Group Strategy and Development Executive.
The topic was called ‘Expanding Horizons’ and was targeted at executives interested in pursuing a Non Executive Director portfolio.
Neil Smith, Managing Partner stated, “Many executives, through their own admission, have reached a stage in their career where they are now in their ‘comfort zone’. In order for them to develop further and gain experience beyond their own boards we organised a presentation to explore the role of the Non Executive Director...

The format of the lunch was good, with the right balance of interesting people and scale. I found Patrick very insightful - a good, honest insider's view of what it is like to be a non executive director.
