SPOTIFY FOUNDER TO SPEAK AT PRESIDENTS' LUNCH

Robert Lindsay Associates, the executive search firm specialising in Broadcast Media, is to host its 4th Presidents’ Lunch in June 2011 and is delighted to announce that Daniel Ek, Founder and Chief Executive of Spotify has agreed to be the speaker.
Commenting on the announcement, Neil Smith, Chief Executive of Robert Lindsay Associates stated, “We always promise that these lunches will provide Chief Executives and Presidents with a speaker who will have an interesting or challenging viewpoint; someone who is perhaps outside of their normal network. Daniel’s businesses have achieved nothing short of phenomenal growth, not just Spotify, now valued at $1bn, but also his previous company, uTorrent, the world’s leading Bit Torrent client.
Neil Smith continued: “To follow up on last year’s speaker, the Secretary of State, Jeremy Hunt, was always going to be difficult, yet in Daniel we have secured an exceptional businessman; someone who has found a way of addressing the challenge of monetising digital content. We already have over 35 senior executives attending and we look forward to welcoming Daniel in June”.
