Patrick Gallagher has over 25 years experience in the international communications and IT industry, having served as both the President of Europe for BT and subsequently Group Strategy Director. He then Joined Flag Telecom where he was Executive Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Patrick is currently Chairman of Ubiquisys, a market leader in the development and deployment of Femtocells in the global 3G mobile market. Investors include, Google, Accel, Atlas, Advent, T- Ventures and NEC. He is also on the Board of Harmonics Inc., a NASDAQ listed (San Jose HQ'd) Global provider of high performance video solutions to the Broadcast, Cable, Satellite, Telecoms and Service Provider industry. He is also a member of the Board of Sollers Auto a major Russian RTS listed automobile company (manufacturer and distributor - passenger and commercial vehicles). Sollers has JV relationships with Fiat Auto, Isuzu and Ssang Yong.
Until February 2009 Patrick was Chairman of Macro4 Plc a FTSE listed global software solutions provider with wholly-owned subsidiaries in Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and the USA. Patrick led the sale of the company to an American buyer which was completed in February.
Until April 2008 Patrick was Vice Chairman of Golden Telecom Inc., a $4.3bn NASDAQ listed ( as "GLDN"), Moscow Headquartered, leading facilities-based provider of integrated communications (fixed, mobile, wireless, broadband) in major population centres throughout Russia and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. He was Chairman of the Special Committee which led the sale of Golden Telecom to Vimpelcom which completed in April 2008
From March 2004 until October 2007 he was a member of the Supervisory Board of Getronics NV, a Dutch listed global ICT solutions and services company with operations in over 30 countries and revenues of Euro 3 billion. The company was sold to KPN in October 2007.
Patrick joined Robert Lindsay Associates in May 2011.
